Springfield Armory XD subcompact 9mm

I picked up this Springfield XD for my wife. At first I did not really like the XD and was trying to push her to pick a Glock 26 instead, but as most of us guys know the wife gets what the wife wants. I was also not to hip on the idea of having a gun that was made in Croatia. The more I handled this subcompact XD the more I began to like it and realized that it is a well made gun. It does come with some nice goodies such as a retention holster, magazine loader, two magazines, cleaning brush, gun lock, magazine holster. I will do an update video after I put a few hundred rounds through the little XD. I do have to say that the XD is taller then the subcompact Glock 26. The XD empty weights 26oz and the Glock 26 weighs in at 18oz. So basically a loaded glock weights what the XD does empty. One other thing to note is that the flush mount magazine that comes with the XD does have a higher capacity then the glock with its 13 rounds.

*Update: I added a Talon grip to this gun for testing. It is incredibly "grippy" and really helps with your control of the gun. The only downside to the grip is that it is so gritty that it kind of tears your hands up.
